He is survived by: his children, Samantha Bridgewater-Phillips (Dean), Tony Bridgewater Jr. and Alyssa Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Nyjheal Bridgewater, Samai'a Phillips, Symian Phillips, Szahri'a Phillips and Sarahn Phillips; his sisters, Verna Wright (late William), Carolyn Hodges (Willie) and Rebecca Williams; his nieces and nephews, Lee Arthur James, Raquel Wright, Kimberly Smith (Maurice), Nichelle Rains (Timothy), La'Angela Littles (Johnny), Teresa Reed, Erecka Gaskin (Timothy), Temekia Spencer, Tarrence Wesley and Elizabeth McNeal; and his close friends, Dana King (Chelle), Linda Flora, John, Gay and Cassie. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family.
