He was predeceased by: his parents, Harper G. Johnson and Ethel Ennis Johnson; his siblings, Howard A. Johnson, John A. Johnson, Frances Ward Summerlin, Gladys Ward Veal and Doris Johnson Stauff; and his stepdaughter Beth Parrish.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Laverne Johnson; his children, Michael Johnson (Robin), Rusty Connor, Lynn Johnson Dickson, Lori Johnson Epps (Ashley) and Denise Johnson Goodwin (Chris); and his stepdaughter Donna Ramage (Troy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
