He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Folsom Phillips and Annett Watts Payne. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Dixon Phillips of Milledgeville; his children, Michelle Kitchens (Kevin) of Gray and Michael Phillips (Amy) of Gray; his sister Debbie Phillips of Haddock; his grandchildren, Courtney, Summer, McKayla, Madison, Haylie, Harley, Marissa and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Walt, Emmah, Noah, Elliannah, Ashton, Avery and Shaw.
