He is survived by: his children, David Lawson of Jones County, Clay Fountain (Stephanie) of Milledgeville, Michael Lawson (Allyssa) of Haddock and Wendy Nicole Ham (Preston) of Milledgeville; his siblings, Tony Kennedy (Teresa) of Milledgeville, Richard Clark of Milledgeville, Mike Lawson of Blountville, TN and Wendy Lawson Boomershine (Ty) of Piney Flats, TN; his grandchildren, James Lowery, Jadyn Lowery, Zayn Lawson, Kade Lawson and Hadley James Lawson; and his great grandchild Lawerence Lawson.
