She was predeceased by: her father Franklin Lanier Key. She is survived by: her mother Mary Christine Parham Key; her husband Edward "Eddie" McDade, Jr. of Milledgeville; her children, Elizabeth Shannon McDade of Macon, Brian Edward McDade (Jill) of Milledgeville and Michael Shawn McDade (Stephanie) of Milledgeville; her siblings, Frances Emly (Thomas) of Montezuma, Ann Dixon (Terrell) of Eatonton, Cathy Gardner (Grady Paul) and Richard Key (Shelia) of Eatonton; and her grandchildren, Addyson McDade and Taylor Moore. She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren as a determined wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home (1670 N Jefferson St NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
Flowers will be accepted, but the family asks that those who wish make memorial contributions to Mt. Ararat Church.
