He was predeceased by: his father Wilton Wade Howard; and his adoptive father William Clarence Cox. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Wade "Josh" Cox of Atlanta and Joseph Howard Cox of Milledgeville; his caregiver Kathy Ramage Cox of Milledgeville; his mother Billie Kay Horton Cox; his brothers, Jay Cox (Debbie) and Damon Cox; and his nieces, Christin White (Reid), Courtney Cox and Katie Cox.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (1670 N Jefferson St NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville (1670 N Jefferson St NE, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Rivers Edge Behavioral Health, 60 West Highway 22, Milledgeville, GA 31061 .
