He was predeceased by: his mother Lula White Owens. He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Owens of Milledgeville; his son Tom Owens (Sandy) of Cumming; his granddaughters, Laurie and Megan Owens; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald McElheney, Vicky Owens of Wisconsin and Brenda M. Miller of Sparta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
