She was predeceased by: her parents, Milner Hawes and Velma Hawes of Perkins Community; her husband Horace Whitfield; her daughter Kathi Oliver; and her sister Elaine Allsteadt.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Blackstone and Myndi Yates; and her brothers, Bruce Hawes (Jury) and Gary Hawes (Nancy). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
