He was predeceased by: his parents, Coley Cooper and Marjorie Cooper; his daughter Regina Howard Schultz; and his siblings, Danny Cooper and Linda Lewis.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Paula Martinez; his siblings, Coley Cooper, Jr. (Brenda) of Pooler and Dean Bassett (Kenneth) of Millen; his grandchildren, Matthew "Cody" Tipton of Statesboro, Emily Toll of Lafayette, LA and Marissa Tipton of Lafayette, LA; and his pet Scrappy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home (1979 GA-119, Guyton, GA 31312). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Millen City Cemetery (919 College Ave, Millen, GA 30442).
