She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol Toole and Lewis Edward Jenkins; her grandparents, Alec and Minnie Lou Jenkins; her brother David Jenkins; and her grandson Asa Tamblyn.
She is survived by: her husband Bart Gainey; her daughters, Hope Tamblyn (David) of Twin City, Jordan Wooten (Tom) of Tacoma and Anna Dryer (Brad) of Millen; her siblings, Christina Jenkins Harrell (Doug) and Keith Jenkins; her aunt Barbara Leonard; her stepmothers, Sybil Jenkins and Kytrena Gay (David); her grandchildren, Kendall, Josiah (Hope), Blythe, Hadley, Kaylyn, Miya (Jordan), Brie and Banks (Anna); her niece Laney Kate (Christina); her in-laws, Bill and Wilma Gainey; her siblings-in-law, Rhonda Gainey, Monica Johnson (John Paul) and Brett Gainey (Jennifer); and her stepsisters, Tammy Lane, Tonia Underwood, Tracy Coleman and Christi Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces & cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak HIL Baptist Church (3233 Oak Hill Church Rd, Millen, GA 30442). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Baptist Church (3233 Oak Hill Church Rd, Millen, GA 30442).
