He was predeceased by : his father Heinz Burke; and his sisters, Vickie Flakes and Rebie McMillan. He is survived by : his mother Violet Burke of Millen; and his sisters, Sandra Lindow (Nancy Mixon) of Upstate, NY and Susan Malphus of Springfield.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crowe Fields Funeral Home, Inc. (364 E Winthrope Ave, Millen, GA 30442). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at the BIG Horse Creek Cemetery (1267 Buttermilk Rd, Millen, GA 30442).
