It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Franklin Andrew of Millen, Georgia, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Perkins Franklin and Ben Franklin, Jr.; her husband James McRae Andrew; her grandparents, Diana Perkins Taylor, Ira Perkins of Perkins, G. A., Bessie Jones Franklin and Ben Franklin Sr. of Birdsville; and her siblings, Ben Franklin, III and Kathryn Franklin Gruetter.
She is survived by: her children, James Franklin Andrew (Julie) of Augusta and Mary Elizabeth Andrew Thomas (Patrick) of Lexington, SC; her grandchildren, Addison Elizabeth Andrew, Dorothy Emeline Andrew, Albert Patrick Thomas, IV and Andrew Benjamin Thomas; and her sister Frances Franklin Winslow (Geoffrey) of Birdsville.
