He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Bell Vickery Hurst and Hulley Mark Hurst; and his siblings, Don, Lindy Hurst, Judy Hurst Oglesby and Sarah Hurst Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Hurst (Tristan) and Lori Godbee (Shane); his grandchildren, Samantha Lane (Walt), Kamdin Lane (Tyler), Isabelle Lane, Shay Godbee and Kolton Godbee; his great grandchild Emmalane "Miss M" Armstrong; his sisters, Betty Ford of Sylvania, GA and Jean Mobley of Rincon, GA; and his brother-in-law Johnny Oglesby of Millen, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Millen Cemetery (1029 College Ave, Millen, GA 30442).
