He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Gaines Bennett and Ruby Lee Arnold Bennett; his wife Doley Colleen Bennett; and his siblings, Hurshell G. Bennett, Hubert L. Bennett and Elnita Davison.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Marie Bennett and Ellen Lang Bennett Pittman (Cecil); his grandsons, Eric Dewayne Pittman (Brooke) and Justin Derick Pittman (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Layla Elizabeth Pittman, Aiden Dewayne Pittman, Danzlee Herrin, Jayci Wilson, Terry Luke Arnold, Jr. and McKenzie Davis; and his siblings, Johnny Merrell Bennett (Gail), Juanita Bell Pittman (late Wallace), Linda Faye Swain (Richard), Grady Bennett (Faith) and Betty Sue Joyce (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
