We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 70, Jeannie Theresa Carter Thomas (Millwood, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Liston Carter, Sr. and Joan Wilson Carter; her daughter Nicki Gill; and her siblings, Bruce Carter and Angela Waldron.
She is survived by: her husband William Eugene "Gene" Thomas of Bickley; her son William Clifton "Cliff" Thomas of Bickley; her grandsons, Conner James Gill and Robert Tyler Gill; and her brother William Liston "Bo" Carter, Jr. (Pam) of Bickley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (2461 Oak Grove Church Rd, Millwood, GA 31552). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501.
