Arthur Joel Buffington Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Joel Buffington of Milner, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arthur Joel Buffington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Buffington and Lilly Horne Buffington; and his sons, Ronald Joseph Buffington and Donald Denny Buffington. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Catrenna Buffington of Gaffney, SC; his granddaughters, Shellie Buffington Leary (John) of Gaffney, SC and Kayla Buffington Hemphill (Joshua) of Cayce, SC; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Ady Leary and Brantley Baldwin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Milner Baptist Church (107 Pecan Dr, Milner, GA 30257). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorials be made to the Milner Community Library, 159 Main Street, Milner, GA 30257 in memory of Mr. Buffington.
