He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Phillips and Sara Jane Moore Phillips; his wife Judy Carole Brawner Phillips; and his sister Linda Kay Rocky. He is survived by: his children, Carmen Selby of Milner, GA, Tonya Kaberna (Damon) of Commerce City, CO, Lisa Whitmer (Robert) of Chicago, IL, Tony Carlton of Bradford, IL, Robert Phillips (Michelle) of Kewanee, IL and Brian Carlton of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Trisha, Cassandra, Brandon, Chelese, Amanda, Megan, Robert, Michael, Lara, Molly, Brieanna, Corina, Cody, Zebulyn, Jonathan, Hunter and Brooke; his sister Laura Bea Thomas of Pekin, IL; his brother-in-law Gary Rocky of New Mexico; and his stepmother-in-law Marie Brawner of Manito, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
