Though Harold may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Harold touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hill Johnston and Cordie Mae Nichols; his wife Alice Josephine Eason; and his brother Oliver Amos Johnston. He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Mussell (Rennie) and Lisa Smith (Stephen). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Haisten McCullough Funeral Home (1155 Everee Inn Rd, Griffin, GA 30224). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
