He is survived by: his wife Katie Griffis of Milner; his children, Joan Hazelrig (Roy) of Milner, Dawn Blile (Dave) of Milner and Ken Griffis (Stephanie) of Stockbridge; his sister Mildred Folsom; and his grandchildren, Christopher Dickerson (Robin), Carey Dickerson (Anna), Kevin Dickerson (Meagan), Krista Dickerson, Russell Hazelrig (Dallas) and Kayla Bowers (Bryan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Tara Baptist Church (10461 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
