He is survived by: his close friend Linda Freeman; his children, Christy Buchanan (David) and Scott McClain (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ashley Pair (Andy), Abby Ballard (Trey), Cameron Daniell (Jamie), Lance McClain and Matthew McClain (Katie); his great grandchildren, Cayson, McKnyzlee, Colton, Cooper, Grant, Collins, Bentley and J. R.; and his sister-in-law Debbie Jenning (J. J.).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (797 Memorial Dr, Griffin, GA 30223). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
