He was predeceased by : his parents, Doyle Nichols and Myrtle Nichols. He is survived by : his children, Alan Nichols (CJ) and Tracy Scruggs; his sister Claudine Nordhues (Jim); his brother-in-law Haskel McQueen; his grandchildren, Brittany Nicholson (Jeffrey), Lindsey Chastain (Brandon) and Katie Marie Chastain; and his great grandchildren, Danica Nicholson, DaLayna Nicholson, Charlie Chastain and Spencer Chastain.
