He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Derryberry Borders; his brother-in-law Walter Grayson Derryberry (Marion); his nephews, Charles Roger Brockman, Neil Derryberry and Scott Derryberry; his niece Katherine Derryberry; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Brockman, Timothy Derryberry, Nicholas Derryberry, Christian Derryberry, James Banks, Wesley Banks and Rebecca Derryberry.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Salem #2 Baptist Church Cemetery (51 Salem Ln, Mineral Bluff, GA 30559).
