She was predeceased by: her parents, Nesbert Daniel and Lolia Downs Daniel; her husband Walter Lloyd Hicks; and her son Carey Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Hunt of Dearing, Debbie Johns of Washington, Joyce Hicks-Paugh of Johnston, SC, Kathy Jowers (Jimmy) of Hohenwald, TN, Walter "Butch" Hicks (Marie) of Statesboro, Donald Hicks (Julie) of North Augusta, SC, Dennis Hicks of Appling and Randy Hicks of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
