He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Talmadge Lord, Jr. and Mary Louise Logue Lord; his sisters, Teresa Ownby, Shevia Hough and Terryl Cullens; and his nephew John Michael Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Nona Todd Lord; his children, Michael Padgett (Dorothy), Chasity Frazier (Trey) and Tricia Padgett; his grandchildren, Anna Padgett of Mitchell, Briar Brantley of Mitchell and Ally Padgett of Mitchell; his sister Cheryl Trobaugh (Ron) of Macon; and his brother-in-law Lewis Todd (Gail) of Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Home (1119 GA-242, Sandersville, GA 31082). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel (1119 Riddleville Rd, Sandersville, GA 31082).
The family suggests donations be made in Terry's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
