She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Simmons and Essie Lou Carter Simmons; her husband Earl Miller; her grandsons, Charles Bruce and Chris Wright; and her siblings, Maxine Nunnery, Lena May Simmons, Dorothy Jarrett and Tommy Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Clara Clayton, Nora Bivens (Hal), Helen Perrin (Carl) and Amanda Harris (Tyler). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
