We are sad to announce that, on May 8, 2026, at the age of 75, Barry Stone of Monroe, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barry leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Barry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Gene Stone and Margaret Bennet Stone; his wife Sharyn Stone; his daughters, Sarah Ahern (Ed) and Amy Houston (Justin); and his siblings, Sharon Brown, Lisa Young and Mike Stone.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to The Cancer Foundation because they provided financial support for Mr. Stone's care on more than one occasion.
