It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty W. Smith of Monroe, Georgia, born in Davisboro, Georgia, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eloise Wicker and George Gladden; her brothers, David Beamon and Charley Wicker; and her son Coleman McCloud Jr..

She is survived by : her husband Gary L. Smith; her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Fields and Ella Wicker; her sons, Tony Terrel McCloud and Denton K. Smith; her daughters-in-law, Delane McCloud and Yosheka McCloud; and her grandchildren, Knyashia Yasmine McCloud, Denton K. Smith, Jr. (DJ), Coleman McCloud, Jr. (Cody) and Mahala Isabella Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
