She was predeceased by : her husband William Earl Benton, III. She is survived by : her children, Christina Benton, Courtney Wright and William Benton (Juanita); her mother Amy Strickland; and her siblings, Angie Golden, Kelly Spinks, Charman Strickland and Tony Strickland. She is also survived by six grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meadows Funeral Home (760 State Hwy 11, Monroe, GA 30655). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home (760 State Hwy 11, Monroe, GA 30655).
