Ellen Day Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ellen Day of Monroe, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ellen left this world on May 13, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carter Langley and Thelma Langley; and her siblings, Bruce Langley, Carter Tate Langley and Peggy Langley Paden.
She is survived by: her husband William Day; her daughter Donna Ward (Russell) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Woodruff (Bucky) of Athens, Will Ward (Haley) of Monroe and Carter Ward of Oxford, MS; and her great grandchildren, Ward, Wally, Walt and Foster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
