He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Sloan and Mary Alice Jones; his wife Peggy Lee Peters; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jean Sloan and Dennis Peters.
He is survived by: his brother John Sloan; his brother-in-law Ray Peters (LaRaye); his niece Patti Sloan; and his nephews, Tom Sloan, Chris Peters, Alex Peters, David Peters and Cody Peters.
