He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. Guck and Theresa Sauter Guck. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Schaap Guck of Monroe, GA.; his children, Heather Soskin (Douglas) of Poolesville, MD and Justin Guck (Emily) of Winder, GA; his siblings, George Guck (Marguerite) of Plano, TX, David Guck (Heather) of Manassas, VA, Cynthia "Cindy" Bileschi (Stephen Ruster) of Fairport, NY, James "Jimmy" Guck (Carol) of Penfield, NY and Elaine Pascual of Clermont, FL; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Paige Soskin, Cole, Justin C. and Case Guck.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Church (985 Hog Mountain Rd, Winder, GA 30680).

The family has requested no flowers. However, donations in Herb's memory may be made to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network or the Kidney Cancer Association.
