He is survived by: his daughters, Amy (Andy Rykard) and Emily (Bronson Swancey); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Rykard, Abigail Rykard of Valdosta and Jackson Swancey of Jefferson, Georgia; and his brothers, Danny Buchanan (Barbara) of Rockmart and Russell Buchanan (Patricia) of Woodruff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
