He is survived by : his wife Mary L. Smith of Monroe County; his children, Mitchell Smith of Monroe County, Barbara Stanley of Monroe County, Frankie Smith of Monroe County, Tammy Castleberry (Eric) of Monroe County and John Quincy Smith (Rhonda) of Monroe County; and his siblings, Emmett Smith of Forsyth, Margie Smith of Griffin and Florine Taylor of Thomaston. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
