She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eulos Kennedy and Lillie Mae Wheeler Kennedy; her siblings, Gwendolyn Hamby, Evelyn Cureton and Walton Kennedy; and her brother-in-law Elmer Hawk.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Graves McGee of Atlanta and Michele Brown Ramsey (Michael) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Robert Kelly McGee III of Hartsville, SC, Anna Kennedy McGee Winburn (Bradley) of Hartsville, SC, Megan Whitley Ramsey of San Mateo, CA and Matthew Chandler Ramsey of Athens; her sister Carolyn Hawk of Rutledge; her nephews, Bobby Hawk, Scott Cureton and Eric Cureton; and her great-nephews, Jerrod Hawk, Bradley Hawk and Adam Hawk. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
