She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert Higginbotham and Gladys Virginia Higginbotham (Phipps); her husband Donald Walter McWaters; and her son-in-law Anthony Eugene Weatherford (Tony). She is survived by: her daughter Andrea M. Weatherford of Monroe, GA; her grandchildren, Anthony Weatherford, Jr., Amanda Puckett Weatherford of Monroe, GA and Andrew Weatherford of Lander, WY; her great grandchildren, Anthony Eugene Weatherford, III (Tripp) and Adeline Rae Weatherford of Monroe, GA; her sisters, Sandra McConnell (Mason) of Stone Mountain, GA and Joyce Berger of Stone Mountain, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Johnson of Alpharetta, GA, Gwen Boozer (JD) of Monroe, GA, Janice Wall (Paul) of Monroe, GA, Rhonda Duren (Ben) of Eatonton, GA and Benny McWaters (Theresa) of Covington, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (670 Tom Brewer Rd, Loganville, GA 30052). A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of TIM Stewart Funeral Home (670 Tom Brewer Rd, Loganville, GA 30052).
