He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Francis and Annie Mae King; his grandparents, Martin Luther and Belle King; his uncles, Spencer King (Hettie Ellen) and Will King (Winnie); his cousins, Paul, Annav King, Jessie and Weltha King; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Lee Dailey and William Thomas Dailey.
He is survived by: his child Church; his wife Mamie Frances Dailey King; his children, Rebecca Anne King Chandler (Bill) and John "Marshall" King, Jr.; his grandsons, William Rogers Chandler III (Rachel Rogers) and Christopher Lee Chandler (Hailey Helvick); his sibling's children, Shirley Dailey Evans (late Gary Evans), Patricia Dailey Fulcher (late Binnie Ray Fulcher), Brenda Dailey Stobaugh (late Gaylen "Snow" Stobaugh) and Warren Joseph Greene (Mary Wiley); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Pam Evans (Gary Teeples), Kelly Stobaugh Fowler (Brandon), Stacey Stobaugh Towler (Jamey), Susan Hodges Wilbanks, Kathy Fergson, Joshua Fulcher (Kelly), Jonathan Greene (Jan), Joey Greene (Monta Lindsey), Keith Fergson and Mikel Stowe; his sisters-in-law, Effie Dailey Stowe, Levey Dailey Greene, Georgia Lee Dailey, Lois Dailey and Montine Dailey; his sibling's children, Wallace Stowe, Johnny Green and Willie Stowe Ferguson; his great-nephew Kim Ferguson; and also, Emily Wilbanks Ault (Michael), Brookelynn Fowler, Savanna Fowler, Riley Fulcher, Skylar Griffin, Levey Greene, Lelia Greene, Caden Fowler, Wayllen Fulchar, Bryson Towler, Colton Towler, Jacob Wilbanks and Little David Looney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Walker Baptist Church (1150 Good Hope Rd, Monroe, GA 30655).
