He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Leo Alonzo Posey and Lemo H. McElwee Posey; and his siblings, Jewelle Howard, Ruby Edwards, Helen Hermesman, Rosina Tinsley and Loyd Posey.
He is survived by : his wife Jacqueline Posey; his sons, Richard Posey (Shan White) of Monroe, Leo H. Posey, Jr. (Tiffany) of Waverly Hall, Chad Posey (Brandy) of Cataula and Charles Posey (Heather) of Smiths Station, Alabama; his stepson Edward Mincy; his brother Robert Posey of Spokane, Washington; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Kayleigh, Mykayla, Kealey, Cody, Caleb of Cameron, C. J., Seth and Krimson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
