She is survived by: her siblings' children, Agatha Maxine Lawson (Harvey) of Monroe, GA, Byron Hester (Patsy) and Charles White, Sr.; her son Joseph Covington, Jr. of Detroit, MI; and her sisters, Alice Jackson and Beverly Elrod (Eugene) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
