She was predeceased by: her husband Granville Johnson; her daughter Vickey Bettis; her parents, George W. Venable and Vela Cope Venable; and her siblings, Tookie Venable and Doris Kersey.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Ann; her son-in-law Roger Artz of Monroe; her grandson Grant (Seana Artz) of Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchild Axel Artz of Jacksonville, FL; her nephew Mark Kersey of Chattanooga, TN; Karen Artz, Rich Winfield, Brandon, Luke Artz of Medford, OR, Linda, Joey Torrosian, Gary, Owen Artz, Gale, Mike Mullins, Jordan, Sean, Leandros and Lucca McCormick. She is also survived by several other great grandchildren.
