He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan McLaurin Ramsey, Jr. and Zoy King Ramsey; his parents-in-law, Donald Whitley Brown and Janie Kennedy; his grandparents, Allan McLaurin Ramsey, Sr., Maisy Rich Ramsey, Homer Pratt King and Beulah King; his son Patrick Peaster; his brother James "Jim" Ramsey; and his brother-in-law Dave Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Michele Brown Ramsey; his children, Megan Whitley Ramsey, Matthew Chandler Ramsey and John Tyler Deal (Carly); his grandchildren, Mason, Wyatt and Adelyn; his siblings, Lisa Stokes (Pat), Tom Ramsey (Liz) and Dina Cooper; and his pet Milo. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews: 8 great nieces and nephews.
