He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Ray and Elizabeth Inez Brooks (Byars). He is survived by: his wife Alecia Brooks of Monroe; his daughters, Crystal Milian (Matthew) of Lawrenceville and Stephanie Myers of Monroe; his grandchildren, Kinsley Myers, Brantley Myers and Hailey Myers; and his siblings, Tony Brooks (Kimberly) of Loganville, Kathy Walker (Chris) of Monroe, Sam Brooks (Renee) of Covington, Steve Brooks (Lisa) of Statesboro and Sheila Callahan of Cumming. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (209 S Hammond Dr, Monroe, GA 30655). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Monroe First Baptist Church (202 McDaniel St, Monroe, GA 30655).
