He is survived by: his mother Linda Louise Westmoreland Peters; his wife Cynthia Marie Rice Peters; his sons, Steven Michael Peters, Jr. (Jessica) and Matthew Cody Peters (Gentry); his sister Lisa Callaway (Tim); and his grandchildren, Brayden Peters, Bristol Peters, Maddie Lee Peters and Bella Rose Peters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meadows Funeral Home (760 GA-11, Monroe, GA 30655). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home (760 GA-11, Monroe, GA 30655).
