He is survived by: his parents, Cleveland Locklear and Linda Bullard Locklear of Maxton; his wife Kimberly Smith Locklear; his children, Tierra Locklear, Sequoia Locklear, Gaige Locklear and Kingston Locklear; his siblings, Archie Locklear of Maxton, Marcus Locklear of Maxton, Brandon Locklear (Stephanie) of Maxton, Wendy Carol Jones of Pembroke and Tonia Brayboy (Eric) of Rowland; and his aunt Zillie Locklear. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces as well as extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (407 Breece St, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Preston Gospel Chapel (2899 Preston Rd, Maxton, NC 28364). A burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the Smith-Locklear Family Cemetery (95 Beagle Ln, Rowland, NC 28383).
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Scotland Regional Hospice for their dedication and commitment for taking care of their loved one.
