He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Virginia McGuffey; his sons, Keith and Darryl McGuffey; and his parents, Walter McGuffey and Rachel McGuffey (Conner).
He is survived by: his son Walter Jeffery; his daughter-in-law Ginger Riden McGuffey of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Niki McGuffey, Megan McGuffey and Jennifer McGuffey. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
