He is survived by: his wife Kay Hester; his siblings, Mary Hester Shumate and Mike Hester (Deborah); his sister-in-law Donna Robinson Deal (Judson Benjamin Deal); his nephews, Barry Shumate (Kim), Robert Tyson Deal (Heather) and Benjamin Bradford Deal (Karla); and his niece Tara Hester Dobbs (Jimmy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harmony Baptist Church of Monroe or the American Heart Association.
