He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. McKenzie and Mira Bess Turner McKenzie; his siblings, Belinda Woods, Beverly McLendon and Miretta McKenzie; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy McLendon Sr., Ricky J. Waters and Lewis B. Joiner.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharika Wimby of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Alexus Lowe and Addison Swayzer of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings, Gracie L. Joiner of Montezuma, Barbara Marshall (Charlie) of Montezuma, Sheila Warren (Roy Neal) of Montezuma, Mary Nell Waters of Montezuma, Connie Walker (Willie) of Montezuma, Reba Platt (Jerry), Van McKenzie of Oglethorpe, Coretha Davis (Willie L.), John Lewis McKenzie of Atlanta, Cassandra Jones (Kyle) of Jonesboro and Gerald McKenzie of Americus, Georgia; and his friends, Willie and Connie Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
