It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Bartlett of Montezuma, Georgia, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Bartlett to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his father Herman Ira Bartlett; and his brothers, Joel Mack Bartlett and Robert Lewis Bartlett. He is survived by : his significant other Barbara Odom Bartlett of Montezuma, Georgia; his daughters, Jennifer Bartlett Rafferty (Ken) of Warner Robins and Amy Bartlett of Dalton, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Christopher Rafferty, Morgan Rafferty Cruz (Danny), Andrew Rafferty, Jack Rafferty, Ethan Cowell and Cameron Cowell; his great grandchild Adalynn Rafferty; and his nephews, Chad Bartlett and Ronnie Bartlett. He is also survived by his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

The family has asked, in lieu flowers that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mr. Bartlett to the Montezuma United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 159, Montezuma, Georgia 31063.

“I was so saddened to learn that Jack passed away. His love of the Lord, humor, the mountains, his Dawgs, and most of all his family, defined him. It was a privilege to have worked with him in Det 8 and to have called him friend. God bless his family and Mrs. Barbara in the trying days ahead.
