Jackie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jackie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jackie will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his father Ethelrene Martin; his aunt Annie Kate Martin-Whitehead; his uncle Marvin Whitehead; his wife Wonda Martin; and his sisters, Vinell Burnam and Debbie Penny Thomas.
He is survived by: his siblings, JoAnn Johnson of Atlanta, Robert Burnam, Ronald Burnam of Montezuma and John Thomas "JT" Johnson of Long Beach, California; his cousin Gloria Keith of Montezuma, Georgia; and his close friend Linda Whitfield of Vienna, Georgia.. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
