She was predeceased by : her parents, Harvey Raper and Verlie Middlebrooks Raper; her son Bubba King; her grandchildren, Kelli Mayfield (P. D. Mayfield), Kevin McCarty (Elena McCarty), Justin Kirkland (Monica Kirland), Seth Welch (Lindsey Welch), Bryan McCarty, Kip Welch and Meghan Browning (Russ Browning); and her great grandchildren, Claire Mayfield, Olivia Mayfield, Ella McCarty, Theo Kirkland, Cam Kirkland, Landry Welch, Davis Welch, Boone Browning and Belle Browning.

She is survived by : her daughters, Faye Kirkland, Tricia Welch (Kenny Welch) and Kay McCarty (Wright McCarty).
