He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene R. Gagnon and Therese Gagnon (Rocheford); and his siblings, Rene R. Gagnon Jr. and Joan Lewis. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Gagnon, Joyce Gagnon, Julia Deloye, Russell Gagnon, Jacqueline Fontenot, Randall Gagnon, Janine Bratton and Jacinta Cobb; and his children, Lisa Reno, Rachel Renaud and Richard E. Gagnon Jr..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Montezuma Methodist Church (201 N Dooly St, Montezuma, GA 31063). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Gentiva Hospice Center, for those who wish.
